The Knicks made a commitment to combo guard Toney Douglas on Wednesday’s deadline, exercising the final-year option on his rookie contract, preventing him from becoming an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Douglas was 3 of 12 shooting (2-8 3pt) for only eight points during last night’s 91-81 loss to the Cavs in Cleveland.
This season, the former Seminole is shooting less than 33% from the field and less than 24% from beyond the arc, averaging 8.7 points per game.
